What the $25 average basket actually covers
The Family Box lists at $25, and that is the average basket a household spends with us in a week. Inside it are ten mandazis, six hand-folded samosas and two large chipettes. Delivery inside the ten-mile Tucker radius is included in the price rather than added at the end, and there is no service fee, no small-order fee and no fuel surcharge. Georgia sales tax appears on the order summary before you confirm, and that is the only line that moves.
Counts matter more than weights here, so we publish them. Ten mandazis is enough for a family of four to eat two each at breakfast and still have a pair left for the afternoon. Six samosas is one and a half each across four people, which is the ratio that stops the box disappearing in one sitting. Two large chipettes exist because chipettes hold their texture longest and are the piece people reach for at nine at night.
The ten-mile Tucker radius
We deliver The Family Box inside a ten-mile driving radius of Tucker, Georgia. In practice that covers Stone Mountain, Clarkston, Northlake, Lilburn and most of north Decatur. The checkout measures driving distance, not straight-line distance, and tells you immediately whether your address qualifies. If it does not, the pickup option stays available and we hold your box at the kitchen for four hours on your chosen fry day.
The radius is deliberately small. Everything fried on a given morning goes out on one loop between 10am and 2pm, and ten miles is the distance we can cover before the last box on the route stops being warm. Stretching to fifteen would double the loop and quietly break the promise below, so we would rather turn the order down.
The Fresh-or-Free guarantee
If The Family Box is not warm when it reaches your hands, reply to the delivery text within one hour and we refund the entire order. Not a portion, not a credit toward the next batch, and we do not ask you to send the food back. We have paid this out eleven times since launch. Each time we changed the route order rather than the wording of the guarantee, which is why the promise still stands exactly as written.

Inside the box
Six samosas, folded one at a time
The six samosas in The Family Box are folded individually on the morning of your delivery, from pastry cut in the same kitchen and sealed with flour paste. You set the spice level once for the whole box at checkout: mild is warm rather than hot, medium doubles the green chili, and hot adds pili pili to the filling and sends a small pot on the side. Because they are sealed by hand rather than crimped, the corners hold on the drive and the filling stays inside the pastry when you bite in.
