What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, email address, phone number and the contents of the order, including your samosa spice level. We need the address to check it against the ten-mile radius and to drive to it, the phone number to text you when the driver leaves, and the email address to send the confirmation and the fry-morning window. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our systems or our notebook.

Email and marketing

If you join the batch list, we store your email address for that purpose only and send a note on the mornings we fry. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes the address rather than flagging it. We do not sell, rent, share or trade any address with another business, and we do not run advertising that depends on uploading customer lists to a platform.

Analytics and cookies

We count page views and a small number of interface events so we know which boxes people read about before ordering. If you decline in the cookie banner, we store a single flag recording that choice and the rest of the site works unchanged. We do not use cross-site tracking pixels, and we do not build a profile of your activity on other websites.

How long we keep things

Order records are kept for three years, which is what our accountant requires for Georgia sales tax. Delivery addresses attached to completed orders are kept for one year so a repeat order does not require re-entering them. Contact-form messages are kept for one year. Batch-list email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your requests

Write to the kitchen through the contact form and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or a deletion. We answer within one working day and complete deletions within thirty days, except for order records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes, which we will tell you about explicitly rather than quietly retaining.
